What is therapeutic massage?
Therapeutic massage (quiromasaje) is a discipline that uses the hands as the main treatment tool. Through specific movements — kneading, pressures, friction and stretching — it works the muscles to relieve pain, restore mobility and prevent injury.
What conditions does it treat?
Back and neck pain caused by poor posture.
Muscle contractures and trigger points.
Mild lower back pain and sciatica.
Tension built up from stress.
Headaches of tension origin.
Muscle recovery after exertion.
How many sessions do I need?
Every case is unique. For acute pain, one or two sessions usually bring noticeable relief. For chronic tension, the most effective approach is a plan of 3 to 5 sessions spread over time, combined with stretching exercises and healthy posture habits. During the first consultation we assess your case and propose a personalised plan.
A professional and caring approach
At Ariadna Masajes, therapeutic massage is always carried out with a holistic approach: we listen to your story, analyse your posture and work on the affected area, but also on compensatory areas. The goal is for you to leave the session feeling lighter and with tools to care for your back day to day.
